On 12, 13 and 14 June 2026, the historic Helmond Castle Gardens will provide the setting for a special new event: VENIJN – Beer & Wine Festival. A collaboration between SCHENK Beer Festival and The Wine Bar, with Friday afternoon set to become the region’s most atmospheric ‘Friday afternoon drinks’.
VENIJN was born out of a shared passion for quality and experience. The festival bridges the gap between a rich beer culture and centuries-old wine traditions. Visitors are invited to wander, tasting glass in hand, amongst brewers with a distinctive style and winemakers with finesse. It is a place where grapes and hops do not compete, but rather challenge and enhance one another.
The ultimate Friday afternoon drinks
The festivities kick off on Friday 12 June at 4 pm with a grand Friday afternoon drinks reception. It’s the perfect place for colleagues and friends to leave the working week behind and celebrate the weekend in a stylish, green setting. With a glass of fine wine or a layered craft beer in hand, accompanied by the sounds of vinyl DJs, the tone is set for a weekend full of discoveries.

A ticket for VENIJN grants access to the Castle Gardens, including an official tasting glass and two drink tokens.
