The summer fair in Helmond city centre is coming up again! From Friday 12 July to Wednesday 17 July, the centre of Helmond is the place for fun, excitement and good food. Here you will find everything you need to know to enjoy the fair to the full.

Attractions and Entertainment

This year, the fair is once again packing big with a fantastic selection of attractions for young and old. How about the Megaslide, Turbo Polyp, or the classic Autoscooters? For the little ones, there are the Tea Cups and Mini Cars, among others. For the daredevils, there is The Claw and the Extreme Trip.

Food and drink

Got hungry from all that action? No worries! There are plenty of food stalls to satisfy your appetite. Enjoy delicious churros, freshly baked fish, popcorn and many more delicacies.

Activities and programme

Friday, July 12:

  • 13:00 - 17:00: Low-incentive fair, ideal for visitors who can tolerate less stimuli.
  • 17:00: Official opening with a spectacular Circus Parade and mascot Knight Rutger. Alderman Fair Affairs performs the official opening and discount tokens are distributed.

Sunday, July 14:

  • 13:00 - 17:00: Children's afternoon with face painting, glitter and airbrush tattoos, and live music. Mascots Fien and Teun hand out discount tokens.

Wednesday, July 17:

  • 13:00 - 17:00: Another children's afternoon with additional activities such as a photo booth and balloon art by Clown Desalles.

Practical information

Road closures: From Monday 8 July to Thursday 18 July, parts of North Queen's Valley and surrounding streets will be closed to traffic. Please take this into account if you are coming by car.

Parking: Park your car at the guarded car parks Doorneind and Boscotondo, which are open longer during the fair. Cycling is a convenient option with many bicycle sheds nearby.
