On Sunday 8 September 2024, the annual Helmond Art Festival took place, and what a great success it was again! Under a beaming sun, the streets of the city centre flooded with art lovers, locals and visitors enjoying the fourth edition of this vibrant event. The centre of Helmond was transformed into a lively art paradise from 12.00 to 17.00, where more than 60 artists exhibited their work and techniques, spread along a route from Markt, via Veestraat, to Steenweg.

There was something for everyone to enjoy. From admiring handcrafted jewellery to attending interactive workshops run by Kunstkwartier Helmond, where both young and old could discover their creative talents. For the youngest visitors, there was the cheerful Children's Music Garden and the impressive ROCKIT rocket, where they could enjoy themselves musically. The streets of Helmond were filled with live music, thanks to buskers and artists who provided a cosy, lively atmosphere.

The Helmond Art Festival proved once again that art and culture can bring the city to life. It was a day full of inspiration, connection and creativity - a true celebration of art in the heart of Helmond. What a successful edition!
