The time is almost there: the Helmond 2025 Summer Fair is just around the corner! From Friday 11 July to Wednesday 16 July, the centre of Helmond will once again transform into a large, colourful party area. Whether you come screaming with friends on the roller coaster or want to spend a fun afternoon with the whole family-everyone is welcome!

Where to do it?

The fair is spread across the Market, Marktstraat, Watermolenwal and Ameideplein. So you can wander around the centre while being surprised by attractions, delicacies and live entertainment.

What can you expect?

Well, a lot! There's quite a range of attractions on offer again. Think classics such as the Car scooters, the Ferris wheel, the Caterpillar and the hilarious Fun House. Are you a little more into adrenaline? Then step into the Booster, the Extreme Trip or be launched in the Flyzone Bungee.

There are of course plenty of attractions for the little ones, such as the Mini Cars, Babyflug, and the Tea Cups.

And for tasty treats?

They won't be short of anything either! You will find stalls with churros, slush puppies, curly chips, popcorn, poffertjes, and of course the indispensable cake stall. No fair without sugar, right?

️ Programme & activities

There is more than just attractions. Additional fun activities are organised on several days:

Friday, 11 July

  • 13:00 - 17:00: Low-Incentive Fair - especially for those who love atmosphere but are less able to stand loud noises and bright lights. Quieter, but certainly no less fun!
  • 17:00: Official Opening - Mayor Potters kicks off the party at Ameideplein. This will be followed by an enchanting Fairy Tale Parade AND... there will be discount tokens of €1 handed out!

Saturday 12 July

  • Rescheduled Weekly Market - Due to the fair, the weekly market will be moved to Kanaaldijk N.W. and Frans Joseph van Thiel Park. Good news: the Marktexpress train will take you there and back between 09:00 and 15:00 for free!
  • And of course... live music

Sunday 13 July & Wednesday 16 July

  • Children's afternoon from 13:00 - 17:00 - Free activities such as make-up, glitter tattoos, airbrush, and visit from Clown OkiDoki (Sunday) and Clown Desalles (Wednesday). Also fun: mascots from Paw Patrol hand out discount tokens!

Please note that the attractions themselves are not included in these free activities.

⏰ Opening hours

Every day you can enjoy the fairground fun from 13:00 to 00:00:

  • Friday, July 11: 13:00 - 00:00 (Low incentive fair until 17:00, then official opening)

  • Saturday 12 July to Wednesday 16 July: 13:00 - 00:00

️ Practical

Admission to the fair is free! Discount tokens are handed out for some activities, but otherwise you decide where to spend your euros: screaming, snacking or winning prizes - or just anything!
