This week in ‘The five of’ a true hospitality entrepreneur: Freek Boetzkes. Better known to some as the owner of 33 Good Food and before that Parliament. A charismatic man who has seen the world but always comes back to Helmond in the end. Love for the city he certainly has. Hence his the largest photo of Helmond in his restaurant. De Kei has been a regular place for me for 25 years. Cold beer, lots of fun, hospitality and music at the right volume are the ingredients for a successful evening. It's right here!

A lovely lunchroom with a nice terrace and quick service. Delicious lunch dishes at a nice price. For anyone who hasn't been here yet: highly recommended!

Rozario & Nastrium
I would like to mention two. For me, the best Helmond has to offer in terms of fine dining are: Rozario and Nastrium. Two gems that Helmond can be proud of.
4. EVENING
Castle garden concerts
On these evenings, there is a kind of blanket of bustle, conviviality and celebration over our centre. Great nights where I love to come every year.
5. CULTURE
Helmond castle
Helmond's castle and its rich history is of course iconic to Helmond. Already 700 years old and still in its full glory in the middle of our city centre.
