This week in ‘The five of’ we have Marie-Claire Coenen. Her surname may give away where you know her from: Coenen Table Culture. A true ‘connector’ by nature, she is incredibly involved in and around the city centre. She is part of the 0492 networking club and is the initiator of Local Gift. Local 42
I regularly go to Local 42 on Sunday afternoons. They have great live performances there. Soon I will have to divide my time between Lokaal 42, the Vijfhoeck and Deftige Aap. All incredibly fun concepts, will soon be running out of time!
2. LUNCHROOM
Belloni
During work, I only have to walk a few metres to taste Belloni's homemade focaccia. I really can't get enough of these, delicious!
3. RESTAURANT
Rozario
Pfff... this is a tough one. Number one in my opinion is de Rozario, followed closely by the Nastrium and Roka. All top restaurants with great ambiance, service and menu.
4. EVENING
Castle garden concerts
For years, I have been a regular visitor and I think there is even an upward trend. In my opinion, it gets better every year. This week Kenny B is the main act, I'm looking forward to it!
5. CULTURE
Cocoa factory
I love coming here for a bite, a drink and a film or concert. They have good programming when it comes to music and film.
