The castle garden concerts may blow out 20 candles this year. And therefore - to celebrate this anniversary - there are not seven concerts, but eight. Every Friday from 8 July to 26 August, there will be concerts by different artists in all kinds of musical genres on two stages.
You can be sure it will be a top party every week, with music styles ranging from rock, salsa and dutch pop to tribute and top hits of today. By now, the entire line-up has been announced and it is no joke. From Dutch song, reggae, soul and blues: everything will be there. Curious? In the document below you can view the entire programme. Full programme Castle Garden Concerts 2022
The grounds are not cordoned off this year, so the whole castle garden is available. Can you take a walk around the castle. The square has been transformed into a food court where you can score tasty snacks. Not just snacks, but drinks too, of course. And with that in mind, it might be smart to come by bike. Extra bicycle racks will be placed on the grounds, and parking Castle Traverse will also be open, of course.
Afterparties
Each week, the bar is open from 7pm until 11pm. At 19.30, the first performances start on the second stage and from 20.30 you can swing in front of the main stage. Are you far from done dancing after 11.30pm? There are afterparties at the Muziekcafé, Lokaal 42, Bobby's Bar, Grand Cafe De Vijfhoeck and in the Haven area, among others.
And the best part: the castle garden concerts are still free to attend. Throw those hips loose already!
